She is a full-time freelance illustrator, and has been drawing
since the age of two.
Pauline works on editorial illustrations for various magazines,
and presently spends much of her time working on paintings, which
she sells worldwide.
Pauline favors the world of faeries and other beings of mystery.
"Faeries represent the playfulness in life we all enjoy. We're all kids
at heart, always looking for a little harmless mischief."
A fan of musician Tori Amos, Pauline had the honor of illustrating
Tori's BEE SIDES song book, (published by Amsco in 1995.)
"Tori's music IS magic in the purest form. It's both simple and complex.
Her music adds fuel to my creative fires."
Pauline likes to create designs based on music because it helps
her to find new dimensions and 'visual sounds' in her pieces.
Pauline says that concept is half the battle when coming up
with a design.
"Finding the idea can take as long as actually creating the piece. Sometimes
I sketch it out 20 times over before I'm happy."
